Play Time and Bath Time

So, prior to yesterday, we always gave EJ a bath in his "rubber ducky" bath tub. However, last night we gave him his first "regular" bath because he can finally sit up on his own. There's also one picture of him just playing. He's finally getting to feeling better. THANK GOD! (That one picture of him behind his babygate makes me laugh out loud!!!)

Back to the Hospital and Home again....

These pictures are from Christmas Eve and a few days after. EJ went to the hospital again ON Christmas and they wanted to admit him back to Thunderbird but we decided against that. I took him home to heal instead and ended up seeing the best Pediatrician the next day. It turns out that little man is allergic to EVERYTHING. Dogs, carpet, dust, the nipples on his bottles, clothes that aren't washed in Dreft, possibly even his formula. We are continuing to monitor his progress (we've found some bottles that he isn't allergic to, so at least he is eating now) and he's on Steroids for the hives and eczema, Claritin for the allergies, and Zithromax for his ear infection. In the past two days there has been MAJOR improvements and I am growing confident that he will make a full recovery from this. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

These are some pics and video of EJ's hospital stay. He was at Thunderbird Samaritan for 3 days, but is home now and doing much better. He was a very sick boy for a little while.

Big Update

Okay, so I'm a little bit late with the updates- but here they are none the less. I started working again at the legislature and I just love it. God placed me with some really wonderful people in my office and I'm glad to be back with my "Senate Family". It's very hard to drop my little man off at daycare everyday, but in the end, I know that this is for the best. The little extra income and great health benefits are amazing to have and make it worth wild. I especially love going to pick up EJ from daycare and seeing him smile as I get a yittow man hug from him. He is my world.

Thanksgiving went well- and none of my pictures have EJ in them, because he was basically sleeping through the whole thing, however I'll post some up anyway because it was a historic event. If you are close to my family, you know why... and that's all the detail you get. :)

EJ is growing up so fast these days and has two teeth (Dec. 5th and Dec. 7th) and they are the cutest damn teeth I ever saw. I never thought I would be proud of something like a tooth- but I am. I totally am "that" mom.

He is almost walking now and pulls himself up onto everything. He thinks he owns the house and can just crawl anywhere he wants. His favorite toys are my car keys or my D&B purse (expensive kid)...

Lucy... I'm home!!!

So here are a couple new pics. I very rarely put pictures of myself on here, partly because I have gained so much weight and partly because this is EJ's blog- not mine. However, this pic of me in the apron was so "suzy-home-maker" as the lady at the register told me, that I had to post it in Eeej's blog because he is what made me this domesticated woman! Enjoy. Oh yeah, and the second one is of EJ sleeping. Wow... one would think he never does this- but occasionally HE DOES!!! The video is of EJ crawling into his bouncy chair... HE'S SO FLIPPIN' STRONG!!!

And one final thing. I FINALLY changed my last name, last week. It's weird. It's definitely going to take some getting used to. But I like it so far!

Just a couple random pictures to show ya'll. He's growing up so fast! In that one where he is on the floor, I was doing dishes and I took the picture from the perspective of what I could see... it was so funny. He was just so happy sitting there with his leg stuck in the toy. The other "stroller" pic is another one I took when he fell asleep. SO CUTE. Then of course, the bouncer- which he is almost to big for. He can practically roll out of the thing now!

Sleeping Little Man

This morning, Eej and I went for a walk (which is becoming "normal" for us) and he fell asleep about half way through it. Isn't he cute??!!!

Be patient and near the end of this video, you can see him attempting to crawl. I don't think he knows what to do when he gets up on all fours, so he kind of just rocks back and forth. If he is just the littlest bit tired, he will start SCREAMING when he maroons himself in this position. I love my little man. He's gonna be crawling for real, in no time.
